Izabella Drogosiewicz, Communications & Outreach Coordinator
I’m deeply passionate about the connection between people, land, and sea; something I’m currently exploring through my MSc in Marine & Coastal Environments at the University of Galway in Ireland. Studying coastal systems abroad has strengthened my appreciation for community-led conservation at home, and it’s a perspective I bring into my work with SCCA every day.
What I love most about my role is supporting education, youth engagement, and community events that help people of all ages feel connected to the natural world around them. Whether it’s amplifying the voices of our team, sharing opportunities for learning and action, or helping bring people together through outreach initiatives, I’m motivated by the impact these moments have in building stewardship and care for our environment.
Working with the SCCA feels like being part of a growing, values-driven community. I’m excited to continue learning, contributing, and growing within my role; supporting meaningful conservation work today while helping shape how we engage and inspire our community into the future. Sending best wishes for the year ahead!
