The Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw is partnering with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Transit and the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association (SCCA) to restore salmon habitat at Ch’ḵw’elhp IR 26, Gibson Creek.
Work runs August 10 – September 30, 2026.
The project will improve spawning habitat and reopen passage to upstream habitat that’s been cut off for salmon.
