Thank you to everyone who joined our 2023 Sunshine Coast World Oceans Day Festival, celebrating the incredible work being done to enhance and protect marine biodiversity!
It was so inspiring to connect with and learn about the amazing people, conservation and restoration projects taking place throughout the Salish Sea.
Our week-long festival was full of wonderful events, with interactive demonstrations, live film screenings, and virtual Nemo Talks presentations.
If you missed the Nemo Talks, no problem! You can find full recordings of all of the talks on the festival website. As well, you can always view our curated collection of marine focused Feature Films and short videos.
A main goal of the festival is to build connections and collaborations between citizens, groups, and scientists, to support marine conservation. So, we have compiled some fantastic ways you can continue to stay connected and Take Action on marine conservation on the Coast throughout the year.
If you’d like to know more about the SCCA’s marine conservation initiatives, or get involved with World Oceans Day Festival 2024, we’d love to hear from you.
We would also love to hear your feedback on this year’s program.
