Federal Election Candidates Meeting on the Environment & Climate Crisis
April 9 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This federal election is a defining moment for climate and ecological justice in Canada—and your voice matters. Join us on Wednesday, April 9 for a Federal Election Candidates Meeting on the Environment & Climate Crisis, hosted by the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association and Seniors for Climate.
With climate change accelerating and biodiversity in crisis, we need bold leadership and real commitments. This is your chance to hear where local candidates stand and ask the tough questions that matter to our future.
We encourage all voters to submit questions for the candidates ahead of our candidates meeting. You can email your question to communications@thescca.ca anytime before the end of the day on Tuesday, April 8. If you miss the deadline, there will also be an opportunity to submit questions at the event.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the meeting running from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. The evening will feature opening remarks from candidates, a moderated Q&A with questions from the public, and closing statements. Light refreshments will be available, and the event will be recorded for later viewing on the SCCA’s YouTube channel and social media.
