Webs of Life

Wonders of the Salish Sea is an inspiring learning experience hosted by Transition Salt Spring that invites adults of all ages to explore the stunning biodiversity, Indigenous knowledge, and conservation efforts that define our coastal home.
From herring to orcas, every species has a role to play—and every action we take matters. Dr. Briony Penn unravels the rise, fall, and hopeful return of herring populations. Dr. Will Duguid explores how salmon diets offer insights into ocean health and food web dynamics. Then Race Rocks Ecoguardian Kendra Luckow shares wild, touching, and unforgettable stories from one of BC’s richest biodiversity hotspots.
