Join the annual Christmas Bird Count (CBC)!

This volunteer-driven monitoring program has been running since 1900, adding to our understanding of how wild birds are doing across the country.

EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to participate!

Expertise in identification is not required for participation in the count.  All that is needed is an interest in birds and a desire to learn more about which ones are around at this time of year.

Bring binoculars or spotting scope if you have them.  Lunch and warm clothes are recommended as participants will be outdoors.  In other words… dress for the weather!
