DESCRIPTION:In 2022\, the shíshálh Nation and the syíyaya Reconciliation Movement partnered with the District of Sechelt to build on their ongoing Reconciliation work by hosting an 11-day celebration\, known as syíyaya Days.  \nThe celebration ends on Canada Day (July 1st) with a parade\, celebrating Canada while also recognizing our colonial history and celebrating the cultures of the First Peoples of this land. \nThe SCCA will hosting a booth at the event.
