DESCRIPTION:The Átl’?a7tsem/Howe Sound Marine Stewardship Initiative and Squamish River Watershed Society invite you to join them at the oceanfront in Squamish for a two-hour cleanup event\, on World Oceans Day. \nThey write: \nJoin us on World Oceans Day\, June 8th\, for a community shoreline cleanup in Squamish!\n– Oceanfront (gravel parking lot)\, Squamish\n– 9am-11am\n– Sunday June 8 \nLet’s celebrate World Oceans Day together by caring for our local shorelines. We will be removing garbage and invasive species from the trails and parking lot bordering the Mamquam Blind Channel in Squamish. \nWe will provide gloves\, bags\, and tools.
